Pension Sacher - Apartments Am Stephansplatz offers eight apartments on the 7th floor, seven with direct views of St. Stephan's Cathedral. Options include one-room apartments (33-42 m²) and two-room apartments (37-60 m²). All feature fully equipped kitchens with dining areas, bathrooms with laundry machines, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. Floor-to-ceiling windows and air conditioning are standard.
Housekeeping and Family Management
Daily housekeeping is included and provided Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, excluding holidays and Sundays. The Sacher family, known for the Sacher-Torte, manages these apartments personally. The office is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., except Sundays and holidays.
Central Vienna Location
The property is on St. Stephen's Square in Vienna's city center. It is a 5-minute walk from Stephansplatz U-Bahn station and a 10-minute walk from Landstrasse-Wien Mitte station. Nearby landmarks include the Historic Center of Vienna (300 meters), The Hofburg (500 meters), and St. Rupert's Church (500 meters).
Transport and Parking Options
Vienna International Airport is 19 km away. The CAT train takes 16 minutes to Wien-Mitte station; from there, take U3 subway two stops to Stephansplatz. An airport shuttle bus goes to Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz (20 minutes), followed by an 8-minute walk. Inexpensive parking is available at the U3 Erdberg station park-and-ride garage (€4.10 daily), with subway or taxi access to the property.

Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. on the departure date. The building entrance has six steps leading to an elevator accessing the 7th-floor apartments. Many guests return for decades, reflecting the family's long-standing hospitality tradition.
